Grandad Goes Upmarket

Grandad was complaining recently about the look of his blog. He was so annoyed about it, that he considered killing it off altogether. (Which would have been a shame because he’s one of the best bloggers around). Instead, he’s gone upmarket and gotten himself a new look. I have to say that I like it. One thing strikes me though - the picture of Grandad looks strikingly familiar.

Update: As requested by Grandad, I want to make it clear that any similarity between Grandad’s picture and that of another well known blogger is completely coincidental. Grandad is the original, complete and only article in the Irish blogosphere. Any intention to misconstrue otherwise is doomed to failure.

Thank you, Sir, for your very flattering comments. I’m honoured.

HOWEVER - Comparing my photograph to that other little upstart is deeply offensive. He is a mere pretender, whereas I am the genuine article. Could you please retract that!

    My pleasure and done!

Of course no-one in their right mind would ever mistake you for anyone else but the genuine article. (Note to self: must get my eyes checked.)

    Thank you for that clarification.

As far as I am aware, that other c**t is even clean-shaven. Is there no honesty left in this world?

Now that is truly shocking! Please tell me that at least he has a goatee? Now that I’ve heard that I’m glad that I sided with the side of right :)
