I was playing around with some themes earlier on, and somehow the new theme I installed managed to reset all my sidebar widgets. Which was pretty weird. Weirder still was the fact that the widgets were reset to the way they were about a year ago.
I was not a happy chappie.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember stuff like Feedburner chicklet links off the top of my head. I don’t even remember what I wrote in my “About” box, and I wrote it.
So what to do? The pure geek in me thought about re-installing my WordPress database backup but that would mean re-writing all the new posts I had written since my last backup. Too much effort involved in that. Thankfully, Google Cache came to the rescue. A quick search and and a click on the “Cached” link and I had a copy of my website from couple of days ago. Right-click, “View Source” and I had all the links I needed. Easy, peasy.
Instead of a new theme, I just went with a new header image. I like it. Obviously. But any guesses as to what it is?
