I have not had a response to any of my questions above. After trying deactivation and un-installing your plug in, the problem went away for only one online session. As I want to show Followers rather than those I follow, this is where the problem is. I currently have it set now to show Friends/Followed and it does not have the problem of showing the same people 2-3 times. It happens only when I have it set to show only Followers that I get multiple images. I will gather most people that have this working, have it set to show followed rather than followers.

This is a bug of some kind. I have it set now to Friends, but want to show followers -- is there something that can be done? I did not have this problem prior to uograding WP two versions ago. It started happening now and then with the WP version prior to the last upgrade, but now the current upgrade seems to have screwed this plugin up.

My website is http://winefoodchat.com please let me know if you want to set it to Followers if you need to see if the problem is on my end.

Thank you.

Follow up. I tried un-installing the plugin and reinstalling it and that seemed to work. However, do not know what caused this in first place, so it should be investigated.

Just reativated the plug in and I still have people showing up multiple times. I deactivated it again. I will need to activate another Twitter Follower/Friends plug in until I hear from you that this has been resolved. Who knows this other plug in could now have this problem too. Will advise.

I just deactivated your plug in because I am showing followers 2-3 times on screen. This looks bad as it appears that i want it to look like I have more followers or something. I just upgraded to the latest version of WP and I know that another plug in went belly up. Is your plug in having compatibility problems? Also, I have 1-2 "followers" appearing from the beginning that are not real, what is up with that and how did they get there?

I will try activating again after I write this to see if the problem has resolved, but even if it does, this should not have happened in the first place.

Two suggestions too:

1. Besides writing the heading above the followers, such as "Twitter Followers" that does provide a link to my Twitter page, but it is hardly clear that it is a link. Is it possible to not only have a heading for the profiles that follow, but also a Twitter Logo or Follow Me link separated? Then we do not have to add another plugin to do that.

2. Twitter has a problem with Porn sites and some social media sites becoming Followers without even notification by e-mail that they are on your Twitter Follower list. Because they usually show up in the middle of the night when they will not be caught, they are still buried among the Followers. I had this happen now twice, where I did not go on Twitter, but people commented that I had a porn site profile on my website as they were showing up as a Follower. Is there anyway to get some kind of a delay so that we have time to block these from our Twitter accounts? This could be messy, but some solution must be found on your end or Twitter's.

Forgot to mention: I'm using both Firefox 3.5.4 and Internet Explorer 7. (version 7.0.6002.18005) and in both browsers everything works without those 4 lines. Bye :)

I think it's a very nice widget/plug-in. It works for me.

But the code didn't pass W3C CSS Validator first because of 4 errors. I always check after adding a plugin etc.

It said that -moz-inline-box wasn't allowed, so to speak.
So I removed these 4 lines in twitter-friends-widget/twitter-friends-widget.php:

echo 'display: -moz-inline-box;' . "\n";

and as I checked again, everything was fine, green, without errors.

And the widget still works :) No idea for what purpose those lines actually were but it seems that I don't miss them.

So thank you for this nice widget and if you'll update again, please remember those 4 lines.
